Very helpful discussion.

Here were some of the points raised:

Start thinking about a title question.
"How organizations and corporations control and manipulate digital media environments."

Type of dissertation - Survey. Case Study. Polemic.
I think my dissertation will be polemic.

Investigate popular representations and research alternative points of view.

Resources - Web sites, conflicting news channels, different online points of view, newspapers - tabloids/ broadsheets.

News Reports
Subtle discretion between various news reports - bias.
Induced guilt.

Need to form a question through my research.

List resources.

As the research progresses a pacific point of investigation for the dissertation needs to be clarified.

I decided to focus my Interactive Project on integrating colour and music production or music production through a visual medium.
Intermedia, Visual music and a Colour organ are three interesting terms which I found while researching this subject.
